Detroit: Carjacking leads violent chase

Police have six people in custody after a carjacking and chase that started in Dearborn and ended in Detroit.
Dearborn police said the suspects assaulted a driver in Dearborn on Walnut Street before taking off in the vehicle.
Police said the victim did not sustain any serious injuries but a condition could not be confirmed.
According to police, the vehicle was spotted going northbound on the Southfield Freeway a short time later.
After a short car chase, the six people ditched the car and ran away, scattering in the area of Mansfield Street and McNichols Road in Detroit.
Families in the area were surprised by the incident.
“I heard some yelling outside. I said, ‘Is somebody out there arguing?’” said Trequan Tidwell, who was in his kitchen at the time. “I came outside and the police were like, ‘Get on the ground.’ They frisk me down and all that.”
Police said Tidwell, unknowingly, had walked into the end of the police foot chase involving officers from Detroit, Dearborn and Michigan State Police troopers.
Dearborn police said the six people, all teenagers, were running through back yards and jumping fences.
Another neighbor, identified only as Theron, said he saw the teens.
Theron added, “Before I could make it to the side door, police ran up and put the gun to me and my son-in-law, and asked us who we were.”
According to police, the six people taken into custody were identified only as three boys and three girls.
“Detroit was right there with us, and the state police and our undercover guys,” said Lt. Mark Tobias of the Dearborn Police Department. “It was a good team effort.”

When you first get started in MLM you are taught to run around like a chicken with it’s head chopped off asking every person that you have ever come in contact with, including friends and family members to join your business. Ipc Program Review – is This a Legitimate Home Based Business Opportunity?
Since joining IPC, I have had many people ask me if this program is a real home based business opportunity. I tell them all “absolutely it is”
IPC, which stands for Independent Profit Center, is a direct sales program. It is not MLM, network marketing or a 1-up or 2-Up Affiliate Program. It is a
true, legitimate online business.
The plan behind Independent Profit Center (IPC)
I believe Dan Miller, the founder of IPC, had a specific goal in mind when creating the IPC program. I believe he wanted to create a simple program
that would be affordable by almost anyone. And with a $249 total start up cost, he did exactly that.
How it works
Basically, you pay your $249 of which $200 is a commission paid directly to your sponsor and the $49 is a one time admin fee. You then get access to the IPC back office where you have all your training material and over $4000 worth of software products and ebooks (which you also have full resale rights to). Also included in your membership is your very own copy of the Independent Profit Center website. I must admit, this is a really nice site. After you activate your IPC website, follow the step by step marketing program and you will then start to generate leads. These leads are all prospects and hopefully you will convert a good portion of them into direct sales. To give you an example, during my initial testing of the IPC program, I converted approximately every 5 – 7 prospects into a $200 sale.
My overall thoughts of IPC
First and foremost, it is extremely affordable to start up. The training in the back office is great and offers enough reading material for the next couple of months. If anything, the $249 investment is worth it just from what you will learn in the back office.
All the ebooks with resale rights, are a great tool to help you build a list of money hungry prospects for your IPC business.
And finally, I know the $200 commission doesn’t sound that impressive but the beauty behind it is, it is a much easier program to promote than some of those $1500 or $2000 programs. And, this is also a great “add on” for those people who are already promoting a big ticket program. You can easily send out a half dozen auto responder messages to your prospects that aren’t showing signs of joining your big ticket program and if the hefty investment was the issue, you should be getting most of them joining your IPC business.
I think anyone who is committed to learning and implementing what they have learned, should have no problem building an online income with Independent Profit Center. MY suggestion, for best results with IPC or with any other similar program, you should join under someone who has experience and is already making sales… and above all, is willing to help train you.

Fantasizing or Marketing?

Now why do I equate “opportunity seeker” with fantasizing and “marketing” with entrepreneur? It is simply this: opportunity seekers are, well, seekers. Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, are “undertakers”. Now I realize the mortuary business has pretty much ruined that word, at least in the English speaking world. The word comes from the French language and means: one who undertakes (some task). Well that’s it; opportunity seekers talk the talk, entrepreneurs walk the walk. They actually do something.
Now I understand that you say that you want wealth. But here is the question: should you be believed? Let me give you an illustration. Do you know people who talk about health but don’t get any exercise, don’t eat quality foods and don’t watch their weight? Well, do you really believe them? See my point? Wealth and health have many talkers but not so many walkers.
Facts, Information, Truth
Now I hear some people say, “That’s my problem. I am a seeker; but there is a good reason for it, you see, I don’t KNOW what to do.”
And that brings us back to health again. Of course health is a tricky subject; how much and what kind of exercise should I get? What are high quality foods? Of the one thousand or more weight management plans out there, which ones are truly useful? You see the problem here? Facts, information and truth are easily lost in the mire.
That’s true of wealth creation as well. I understand that there are 150,000 new home based business started each week. And do you know what many of them are doing? They are making a list of 100 people they know to share their business with.
Now answer me this question: what traditional businesses do you know that make a list of their friends and family and actually think that they are going to build a 6 or 7 figure annual income this way? Can it work? Yes. Will it work? Rarely. The fact is most people simply don’t know what to do. They want to be walkers, but they don’t know where to walk. So they keep talking about it, seeking the perfect opportunity, bouncing from product to product, company to company and plan to plan.
The Perfect Product
Let’s stop here a minute. Tell me, what is the best hamburger you’ve ever eaten? In my case, it’s a What-A-Burger. Years ago I moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. I wanted a hamburger and a friend of mine said, “Let’s get a What-A-Burger.” I never heard of it. It was incredible. I live in South Carolina now; it’s wonderful in South Carolina except for one thing—they don’t have What-A-Burgers here. My mouth is watering just writing about them.
How did you answer that question, what is the best hamburger you ever ate? Of all the options possible, I’m going to guess it was not a MacDonald’s. I’m not saying they are bad; they’re not—but the best? Well, I don’t think so.
But here is an interesting fact; MacDonald’s is the largest hamburger restaurant in the world. Why? If it is not because they make the best hamburger in the world, then what is the reason?
The reason is simple; they have the best hamburger marketing plan in the world. There is a lesson here. Product is important but marketing is critical. My point? Represent a good company and product; it is very important you do so. But the best product in the world will go nowhere without a first class marketing plan.
A Better Idea
Chasing the perfect product is not the answer. What is the real answer? It is the creative use of the Internet to drive an endless supply of leads to you, leads that are specifically interested in multi-level marketing.
But you don’t know how to do that! You’ve checked the Internet; there are hundreds of “plans” there on how to start a business—which product, which plan?
Don’t worry about the perfect product, instead, above all, focus on the marketing plan. And just what is the best marketing plan for a MLM business. It is a plan that uses the power of the Internet to drive an unlimited supply of interested people to you, each one of them seeking information on how to achieve wealth.

StarCraft II is a sequel to the real-time strategy game StarCraft, announced on May 19, 2007, at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Seoul, South Korea. StarCraft II is being developed for concurrent release on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X. Though currently no release date has been given, it has been stated that development on the game began shortly after Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne back in 2003 and that the game development is “very far along and already playable in multiplayer with all three races”. The game will feature the Havok physics engine, allowing “debris [to] roll down a ramp”, as well as improved 3D graphics. Its lead designer is Dustin Browder.
